Lets hope this one fares better than previous fta sports channels - which have virtually all been an unmitigated disaster so far - launched with high expectations then disappearing a few months later either behind the Sky paywall or morphing into some dreadful babe channel....

Yes its 5/6 - I was lookig at 11428H when I was typing and that one is 2/3!

I hope they succeed, but Im not optimistic. At the end of the day it will be all down to viewing figures - and there are some pretty minority sports in their roster. Second division Nascar wont pick up many dedicated viewers week in week out......

FreeSports looks like an interesting adventure,

The channel's directors include Richard Sweeney and Michael O'Rourke from Setanta Sports and Premier Sports. Setanta Sports Broadcasting Limited of Dublin is listed as third director, according to Companies House, under rules that allow companies to be directors.
