Hi all, I am brand spanking new to this game. I have just got myself a secondhand pace receiver (no card) and dish. I can get the odd few channels. Where do I go frome here. I don't want to subscribe to sky. How do I increase the number of channels I can watch? What is all the chat about keys and firmware updates? Can anyone help me out here?

My Satellite Setup
Technomate 5402 HD M2 Ci, DM7000s, Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Promax HD Ranger+ spectrum analyser.

The only thing that you will receive with your Pace Digibox without a card will be the totally free to air channels on Astra 28.2, if you can get hold of a Free To View card then you will get the normal terrestrial channels as well.

It is possible to swing the dish round to 19.2E, but the channels you can receive will be limited.

There are no other cards which will work with the receiver.
