First of all I had a hard disk failure and the box constantly rebooted, so I bought a replacement disk and fitted it. Easy job.
Just to test everything I connected 1 cable to a wideband outlet on my hybrid LNB. No signal was detected, so no channels scanned. System information shows there is signal.
Connected the cable to a standard outlet on the LNB. A signal showed and stations scanned.
Connected the cable back to a wideband outlet and I’m back to square one ie. Won’t scan channels, but shows there’s a signal.
Any ideas would be gratefully appreciated.

When using a wideband or hybrid LNB both wideband outputs have to be connected to the receiver - one cable is for horizontal signals, the other for vertical.

Thanks very much. I learn something new every day.
