I have Sky freesat and am thinking about getting a Panasonic TV with built in HD receiver for the Freeview HD channels. Can you tell me if I'll just need to buy the TV and will I be able to receive the freeview HD channels through the dish wothout buying further equipment.
Thanks

Confusion of terms here!

Freeview = Digital Terrestrial (via Aerial)

Freesat = Digital Satellite

So, if what you meant was a Panasonic TV with built in HD Receiver for the Freesat Channels, then the answer is "yes".

If it is not a integrated Freesat model, then it will only have a Freeview tuner and you'd need an external Freesat box.

The apparently pedantic issue of terminology can now be seen to be vitally important!!

Fortunately, Panasonic are key players in the integrated Freesat market and there are several models available that should meet your needs.

With regards to Freeview HD (through the TV aerial) there are currently NO TVs available which will get the HD channels directly - they all need a separate Freeview HD receiver. There are one or two recently available, notably from Humax.

Frankly, I wouldn't buy a terrestrial Freeview HD receiver as, apart from the HD itself, your TV can already pick up the rest of the channels. I would wait for one with an integrated recorder which are promised for about 3 or 4 months time.
