My Satellite Setup
3.3 metre dish quad LNB Thompson and Pace Sky plus
My Location
Peyia, Cyprus
I currently have Sky+ on 3.3 metre dish out here in sunny Cyprus, well it wasn't sunny yesterday one hell of a thunderstorm! My question is ,I have a Manhattan Plaza ST 500 sat receiver on Nilesat and Hotbird. If I connect this to the sky dish would I expect to get Freesat channels when tuned in?. Might be a good reserve if Sky receivers goes belly up.
 
Yes, see the FREESAT FAQ at the top of this section, if you can pull them in on your dish, then any digital receiver will pull them in, providing it is sensitive enough, as they are free to air.

Many thanks will report results as soon as I can connect the receiver, ie thats when my wife isn't watching soaps etc
