Help i am in Sweden without any British TV!

I am looking to receive 'Freesat' and have done a bit of research on the net.
It looks like I will require roughly a 1.5m dish and was considering 1.8 to be on the safe side?
For the record I am a total novice and would welcome any links to dish-size websites and reputable retailers who do not charge over the odds.

I have noticed segmented dishes which are obviously much easier to post, is there a significant reduction in signal reception quality?

Any hints or tips would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Richard.

If by segmented you mean the Fortecstar type as sold by Maplin - then avoid like the plague. There are a couple of threads here from demented former users of these dishes!

Assuming that you can confirm that 1.5m is big enough for your area, it is always safer to get the next size up. Laminas dishes from Poland are good and cost effective. If a 1.5m is good enough, the Gibertini 1.5m is well regarded.
