Hi all

First time here.

Basically my Humax Freesat HD replaced Sky when we decided to ditch $ky. Switched the boxes, all was fine for 2 years. LNB short messages then started to appear now and then and recordings were interrupted. So only one tuner was working at a time.

Changed the whole Coax as a process of elimination. Same probs.

A few weeks on and the signal stands at 0%. All coax installed correctly.

Fitted a new Zinwell Quad LNB at skew 3 with the original dish position undisturbed. 0% signal.

Double-checked dish position with Sat position GPS and still nothing.

Tried a single tuner box and the old Sky+ box. All reading 0%.

I'm SHIT out of ideas here! Am I missing something?!!

Cheers.

Possibly a faulty LNB, or a short in the coax cable.
Are you sure you haven't nudged the dish, not only East, or West, but also the elevation?
Do you have a signal meter? Even a cheap one, about £6, will help identify the problem.

Welcome to the forum. When you checked your satellite position did you move the dish? How do you know it's aligned properly? You can't do it just by looking at it.

Could well be a dish alignment issue. As above, a cheapo in line meter would give you an idea.
