Freesat recorder

We have a freesat recording box and use it in our motorhome. Just recently we dont seem to be able to watch recordings on the sat box if the satellite dish is down, when up all is well but when it is down we get the sound from recorded programs but the picture is just “setting ip satellite dish
Can anyone shed any light on this for me please

I'm guessing it's a Freesat 4K box? We've had quite a few complaints about the 'setting up satellite dish' message when the box is brought out of standby, allegedly it's a power saving 'feature' but seems to be poorly implemented. You could have a moan at Freesat support but I doubt there'll ever be any improvement as they'd rather viewers bought a Freely TV
