Freesat Remote control problems !

Basic Sky package with Sky Spprts and ESPN
Humax freesat Digital Television Recorder
My Location

I have a basic Sky package with Sky Sports and ESPN, I do not have Sky+

I have bought a Satellite HD Digital Television Recorder

I have a Panasonic HD Ready TV (TX-32LXD60)

so now I have three remotes!

I have used the services of a reputable ariel company to set the recorder up.

My problem is that I can't switch between my Sky package and my Freesat channels with my remotes.

While watching Sky and pressing TV/AV on my Panasonic remote I switch to my digital channels that are installed on my TV.

Is there a way that I can set my remote so that when I press aTV/AV (or any other suggested button) that I can easily switch between Freesat and Sky? I'm feeling very despondent.

If you use the source button on the TV and change the function to Freesat, then the TV should stay on that when you switch between AV and TV.

3 remotes....

This is why I use harmony remotes from Logitec, it can control almost anything that has an IR remote, you program it with your PC using their web site, you set it up the way you want it to control your equipment, if you cant find the correct codes for the device your trying to control, you send them an e-mail with the model numbers and they send you a link to download the correct codes to your remote.

They are expensive but they work, I have mine setup to shut off the lights in the house (X10 modules) when I go to bed, saves me from stumbling around looking for things to knock over with my cane.

I only signed up on Friday but I know where to go now to solve my technology problems, and with such good humour (sorry Terryl - humor ;o))
