Others may have seen this, but BBC iPlayer has been suggesting for a few weeks now that at some point you need to register with 'them'.
Last night I could not get to watch TV on the iPod and so did the deed, giving detail required, email and password (with a suitable addendum that if this has anything to do with Capita then I will be including a bill for their timewasting from a few years back).
Tonight and on the PC, on a completely different broadband connection, I'm advised the registration is still not mandatory and can watch TV without submitting detail.
So, is the iPlayer App via Apple a few hours/days ahead in their needs/threats, or have I been scammed ?
