freezing?

ive a pace 2600c1 the problem is that when i switch on from stand by it comes on but it's a blank screen with the blue banner at the bottom or a frozen picture, both with sound!! & then if i turn over to another channel it's then ok can i fix this problem??
 
It helps if we know where you are and what size dish you use.However,there isnt a need to switch digiboxes into standby,-I always leave mine on Sky news,and just switch the tv off.Theres hardly any difference in current used in either mode.
