£15 for a digital receiver. can't be bad. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5775852570 note no remote - note, i've no affiliation with seller, this isn't a personal recommendation, just something i came across...

"echostar & remote" doesn't exactly fill the search with many happy returns...

You can buy a brand new receiver with remote and all the bits and pieces for £40 from almost anywhere now, add postage to the auction price and the cost of a remote and you'll be paying more than that. Pretty sure that they are useless without the remote as well.

Saw the Echostar in Tesco Extra a couple of weeks ago for £35. Complete (obviously) and year's warranty.

If it's £15 and £8 carriage with no remote and no warranty,I'd rather get a brand new one with a years warranty.

I actually bought that model from Argos a while back as it has a sensitive tuner. Works well for me at 35 miles from the TX and that's with a ropey rooftop aerial.
