Hi All,
I am kind of new into the STB world,
and I was wondering,
if I buy an STB FTA, how do I keep watching the OTA local channels I used to receive with my VHF roof antenna?

Regards

The same way you do now.

Analoguesat, thanks for the reply.
Where would I plug the RF cable coming from the VHF antenna then?
The STB plugs into the TV RF jack now.

The stb should have a second aerial connector for the rf out. Get an aerial "extention lead" and daisy chain everything together. This sort of idea:

aerial---stb 1---stb2---video recorder---tv

I see. Great.
And for example the OTA local channels I watch on my TV (Channel 2, Channel 3, Channel 9, etc), would they still be in the same channel number or the STB somehow rearranges that?

Im no expert on VHF channels but Id guess it should just pass the terrestrial signals straight through unaffected.
