Hi
which FTA sport (footy) channel are available on 75 cm solid motorised dish in Edinburgh
Assuming line of sigh is clear from 57E to 7E
Thank you in advance

No dedicated football channel is free to air but you will get a lot of kicking about on the middle eastern broadcasts, 42E/13E and 9E

Are you wanting Prem games, or something else. Dont dismiss unknown sides - some of the African games can be far better entertainment than watching our over paid prima donnas kick a ball around.

Obviously things are odd atm but dont expect to be able to pick & choose from lots of Prem games every weekend via forrin satellite - the UK authorities caught onto that & stopped it a few years back

So I assume its easy to receive on 75cm the following
SPORT 1
Eurosport
Turkmen sport HD
TRT sport HD
Varzesh Tv 3 HD
ASR HD
Any thing else ?

Try it & see - we have no idea what your reception conditions are like - on the lower elevation satellites out towards the extremes of the arc you only need one badly pace tree a few gardens down to ruin your reception of two or three satellites.

I am "confused" (as, I suspect, will be many others!) because, with reference to your previous thread about Gibertini & HM-Sat (AND in your profile!), you now appear to be using a 1m dish on your motor - so why are you now asking for info on what's available with a 75cm dish???????

Teaming up with couple of friends who want system as well but they need to know what do they get on 75cm
Then we will order together
That’s the plan at the moment
I returned the 1 meter gibby as it was damaged

To be somewhat "Blunt", you REALLY should have made that clear in your initial post in this thread! - otherwise the forum members will be likely to take any future questions about how to setup/help with YOUR own system far less seriously than we have previously, and thus we'll likely not be as helpful as we do normally do try to be (as you have yourself already found out!).

On that point, over the years, we've had many "time wasters" asking questions about which we've taken a lot of time to try to answer - and that does not "help" our genuine wish to aid "people with real problems"!

Not sure I get the teaming up part unless you live next door to each other or in the same block or flats it’s 2 separate things

Thanks for your precious time
I did not know that I have to start from where I left
If you people mind I won’t ask any thing
Sure this world is full of people who are ready to help
Thanks

different houses not nearby each getting his own kit (buying togeather) so we can help each other setting up one kit at a time

Not sure 75cm motorised is the way to go especially when the idea originally was 1m or maybe that’s still your intention and the 75cm is for your friends.
Going by the post you’re looking for football and what the lads have said is right in terms of channels there’s not many FTA well not consistently anyway.

When I’ve done this in the past is I’ve looked at sites such as liveonsat.com checked what games are on in the leagues I’m interested in and made note of the names of the channels and then used Lyngsat or one of the others to see if I can pick that channel up in my area.
I’ll have a browse later when I don’t have my kids around but that’s the best way of getting a realistic view of what you can expect to get in my view. I’m assuming you’ve got a decent meter and know how to line up a dish apologies I’m sure you’ve mentioned this in thread.

I would also think about the clubbing together piece, what value is there from this other than saving some postage unless your friends are installers. I would get yourself sorted first and then your friends are making a buying decision based on the results of what you’ve received

Channels showing games over the next week are below that I could see (not sure if 75 or 52 east are receivable in Uk and what dish size so you’ll need to check Kingofsat/Lyngsat etc) but the rest will be easy to get but quality of football not great as most of the below is Japanese football or lower league German football. The 75 east and 52 east are premier league which makes me think you won’t get them in UK

Football HD - 75 east
ASR TV - 52 east

Free sports Uk HD - 28 east

MDR Fernsehen/SR Fernsehen/SWR Fer 19 east

Ard Das Erste - 19 east

Eurosport 1 Germany - 19 east

Other sports this week

Formula 1 - RTL 19 east

The Western beams on 52E are an easy catch almost anywhere in the UK, OTOH very, very few (if any??) people can get 75E from the UK because it is very low on, or is below, the horizon.

William-1 and Marshall54 are regularly posting forthcoming FTA football viewing opportunities in other current threads - so that, and similar ones about other sports & F1, are regularly posted on the forum for those who want to know, and who take the time to look for and read them.
