I'm surprised that no-one seems to have started a specific thread on this, so here goes:

51.5E - Berlinsat - 11230/H/45000 - Dvojka - ATM -> Basketball - Spain v Germany
 
ZDF HD on 19.2°E 11363 H 22000

Most of the pictures I've seen look quite soft. Might be caused by the 60hz to 50hz conversion which isn't the best I've seen.

Tbh I thought the plug would have been pulled on Thursday.

Now is not the time to send atheletes around the planet (or third rate commentators , at the licencepayers expense) when a pandemic is on.

The single year's delay will come back and bite somewhat more than the football of earlier.
 
Looking for live weightlifting if anyone has seen it anywhere. No doubt the women's +87kg event will be on everywhere..

I think most BBC commentators are still in the UK operating off tube. Though the waste of time 'tell us how you're feeling' post event interviewers are still there.

German FTA coverage is on Das Erste tomorrow.
 
for weight lifting & greek wrestling and those manly activities,try TRT turkey on 7east they have 2 sports channels

All TRT channels on 10804 V 30000 are flagged as encrypted, but don't appear to be scrambled :confused

edit: Weightlifting on BBC RB1 HD now :Y

7E - SX88 is showing Womens's volleyball on TRT Spor 2 in the clear, and not flagged as encrypted!

An "Edision" issue??

All of 10804V now showing as FTA. Wasn't just on the Primo - I also checked on the Openbox V8S which also showed it as encrypted at the time.

Has anyone found an accurate timetable of what the BBC is going to show? All I can find is this, which is next to useless:

I'm not familiar with the schedule arrangements but sports that are outdoors and rely on the weather are subject to rescheduling, I think the wind surfing got delayed by 2 days yesterday for example.
 
They should at least have a detailed schedule of what they are planning to show, based on the original timetable. It gets tiresome waiting around for something that may never be shown. Unless you're really desperate to see France vs Russia 3 on 3 basketball or skateboarding, in which case the BBC is superb.

Talking of darts, why is skateboarding - specifically urban / shopping mall environment style - in the Olympics ?
 
Trying to attract the yoof audience innit, though I fear they are a couple of decades late. E-scooter racing around residential areas would be more appropriate.

According to the NY Times it's 'trying to instill the Summer Games with a jolt of youthful rebellion'.....next time graffiti spraying, casual mugging, artistic lying in bed and formation hanging round street corners will be demonstration sports
