FTP Connection Problems

I,m in through FTP and online now
 
Hi beatphreak,

I assume the Hydra Zeus image you are using is in dreambox internal flash memory?
The error message you are getting occurs if you fail to do a flash erase (hold in up/down buttons while box boots until 'flash erase' appears on Dreambox display) after loading the Zeus image. You will then need to load in basic and sat settings and do at least a partial sat scan. If you have settings from a 108 image saved with DreamBoxEdit or FlashWizard you can then put these on.
You should then be able to download the latest control panel and then softcams and keys.

but when i erased the flash i get no signal through the DB when i tried to scan...

Do i need to re flash?

i'm back on track after a factory reset

Which box is it?
What sort of dish setup have you got?
How did you install the image?

It's a DM7000s Installed via Null modem
The green button works now..
I've just got to sort my internet connection out and i'm back on track.

Hi beatphreak,

Good! You had me worried.
As it's a DM7000S like mine my advice would be to get multiboot on a USB memory stick (128/256MB) going as soon as possible!
Saves all the playing with the internal flash image of the Dreambox. Lets you load different images to try them out or play with different emus/k*y* while still keeping a known working image just a reboot away!!
Use FlashWizard 4.5b as your multiboot manager and everything is very easy.
Let's know how you get on and if you'd like to try multiboot (I find it very convenient)?
