FTP from DM to DM?

Short question: Anyone know a good, lightweight, FTP client for the DM800? I noticed there is no client installed by default on the BH.12 image.

Longer Question: Has anyone any nice way of transfering recording between 2 dreamboxes? I have been toying with some PY scripts to enable a GUI to list the recorded movies on one DM and then drag them to another one, not going very well. The only thing I can think of now is a cron job that will tar and compress the files then file tran them during the early hours of the morning, however, there doesn't seem to be an FTP client on the DM's and comrepssing a 4GB file on the boxes takes forever!

I could never get NFS to stream correctly on account of my 2 boxes being connected over an EOP 85Mb/s adaptor which are pretty crappy. At the moment I am using one DM for recordings only and the other one, in the sitting room for watching them back.

Who needs SLY and their twin tuners!!

I dunno if this is an option, but there's an FTP client for windows called FlashFxP. You can use this software to 'FXP' from a remote site to a remote site. EG: Dreambox to Dreambox. The transfer is controlled by the pc but the actual data is passed directly from box to box.

The product isn't free though, more is the pitty.

I did find out that there is a built in ftpget and ftpput on the busybox distro put that's a real pain for syntax. Back to the web interface me thinks, which at best is terrible!
