So, résumé (for anyone reading this in the same situation):

A sky card that hasn't been authorized needs to be left in a digibox on a sky channel and then:
someone from a UK phone (I wonder if an internet IP phone would fool them ?) needs to phone Sky with the card details AND the digibox details AND the address & name of the original subscriber.

I'll see what I can do !

Once its in a Sky box, doing a "new installation" from within services 4 0 1 select should activate it as well. Both my cards came alive in a matter of moments once I did this, although its beena while since I did this.

Remember that if you use it in a dreambow, it will need to go back into a sky box regularly otherwise it will miss its "stay alive " authorisations.

Not sure if that's true...?

I swap my card backwards and forwards, but I see no reason why it wouldn't update in the DB, or even (though less likely) activate there.

Anyway, sorry - this isn't a DB thread.
