Dear All,

I have a problem concerning programming FUN cards, recently I had a fun card, when trying to program it I get the message " chip protected, erase chip and try again" and when trying to erase the card I get the same message. Please I need help to unlock the card.
I am using Elvis programmer and muliprogram 7 asoftware for programming.

Note: I found some cards like that and my old ones are working perfectly

Had same problem a while back with 2 diff funcards. It seemed
that i had set wrong card type ie: c64 eeprom instead of c128
and my programmer had started to write to them, I only managed
to rescue 1 card the other died (rest its soul) Check card setting
check also com port setting, recheck elvis software, and if still no joy (a nice little service in the garden will do) and buy a replacement. DAVE.

And of course if that lot doesn't work, you couldn't have picked a better time of year for the cards to die, they make really great windscreen scrapers. ;)

On a slightly more serious note though, I seem to remember a piece of software that would break down card protection, but haven't seen it of late.
