Fwp7020

The image you have installed may have replace enigma on the box - that will have wipe the FWP access.

Try a flash erase and a re boot - in the image that loads check the IP address the box now has and use that to connect FW if that works it will ask you to install FW on that image.

You will then have access to your other images.

Once you get it working - if you want to watch any TV - leave it alone until you're sure what you are doing - that's my advice :-DOH!

Not sure on the 7020 (that's what you have isn't it?)

Check the manual 0r wait for an answer here.

try the up button m8 on reeboot

With FWP it normally erases the old flash, certainly did when I replaced the main flash image on my 7000 to upgrade the front end processor, but perhaps it's different with the 7020, certainly shouldn't hurt to hold in the up button on cold boot. :).

cant you find the ip in expert set you m8

DCG
i have nothing , i could not access any thing
i think the flash image erased.

Get the null modem cable out and put the base image back...

Then add FW and the images on the USB should still be OK.

The satellite positions may have to be re programmed...

Yes I agree with you gameboy, had to do it on a 5620 on friday. Null out and dream up, Reminds me of when I started. A corrupt gemeni 2.2 image for the 5620 box , brought it to a standstill. Thought it was F****d. All smiles again.

Beta 3 is now out. Everything working OK here except when I install Gemini my /mnt/hdd isn't mounted correctly and I can't access recordings. I think this could be because I have the orignal image in flash instead of the recommended NBC CVSplus image. Unfortunately FWP 7o2o beta can't install images into flash so will have to figure out what other tool to use.
