GB News HD 28.2E

Just watched 10 minutes of it, trashy and poorly presented. Surprising as they have a good ex Sky News presenter. Turned it off as it was giving me toothache..
 
Rather left-wing for my taste.

I welcome the competition but I'm surprised it looks so amateurish considering how much money they've spent. They must have splashed it all on the talent and not the set because it looks like someone's spare room.
 
they could start a talent show,
lots of people would come and sing,cook,sew,paint...that 'd be a great & cheap channel!
 
Too many presenters on screen at same time, lots of talk, noise and opinions. Not much news !

It would be good to know the ratio of money thrown at the presenters in the studio, against UK correspondents and outside broadcast equipment.

Does GB News have anyone reporting from the Isle of Wight for example ?
 
They are apparently aiming really to be views rather than news. I did see they had someone outside Stormont last night so they do have some correspondents.
 
Aside from it catering to people who seemingly want to hear loud opinions rather than fact, from a brief look at it last night, it seems to just be Andrew Neil in a low budget studio that’s trying to look like some kind of s_x dungeon.

Nobody needs to see that! :)

They should also employ somebody with a geographical background then.
 
watching now - so low budget!!!

and sound issues - the presenter looks on edge.
 
I had high hopes of something different and worthwhile - but it is utterly dreadful.
 
Another channel similar to RT? I am not sure how these channels are even allowed on air to be honest. Freedom of speech and all that I suppose. Oh and ya low budget to boot. Another bright example of the best of hmmm British ha.
 
and in France it's C-news just as bad but 2 years older,just rottening up people's view of politics,a direct help to fascists,racists and anti-democrats
They hire up loud speaking guys and keep inviting fascists ,from home(the LePen family) and abroad (Steve Bannon,or some RT co-workers)
This wil make you LOVE the bbc after 6 months of "British" (rather Trumpo-Steve Bannonian)GB News stench!

well,that website (Order order) forces you to swallow their cookies..;so,why not just give them a miss?
 
I find it odd that so much of the content has been about the delay to "Freedom Day" yet they aren't showing the debate in parliament on the exact subject. Don't believe they showed PMQs either.

Just to note the channel doesn't display correctly on my old Openbox V8S, almost like the fields are being displayed in the wrong order.
