Is anyone using this and what do you think of it? It resides in the flash memory, by the looks of it, and leaves the rest of the memory for me-me-me :-worship :-worship

I rely on a CIFS mount and have a couple of emus loaded. I am armed with null modem and Dream-Up.

Should I go for it? :) Who else has done this with their DM500?
 
Yes, no more problems than before. More space.

Don't forget to backup your channel lists. You'll need to rescan and store your satellites unless you know of a way to do it? Did read you could access the "registry" but never bothered. Backup doesn't do it as far as I could tell.

I dropped this onto my DM500 last night (3.2). Seems to work fine.

I'll finish the configuration tonight and give my "opinion" ;)
 
Did you use a null modem cable as adviced by the creators of the image?
