I did record this but the ARD’s usually very good accurate record information wasn’t so accurate, and it missed the last 15 minutes!
However, the ARD Mediathek version is available to watch without geoblocking - "Germany 12 Points" | Der deutsche ESC-Vorentscheid 2022
It's 720p like the satellite version.

I don’t think so, series and films on ARD Mediathek are often in 1080p now, but I can only get 720p for this.
Das Erste HD is now transmitted in native 1080, but unfortunately only via digital terrestrial TV in Germany.
