digital setup on astra and BSB British satellite broadcasting receiver not setup and a analog satellite box not setup
My Location
UK central
Wait there are still analog signals!

yes i just found out i thought it was a different satellite. and i can not receiver it even if i had a big dish because my analog receiver is ku only and not c band. and there is no chance i can get hold of a analog c band receiver my bad.
 
Its not the receiver you need - its a C-band lnb. Not common & not cheap.
 
why how much do they cost
 
Dunno - have an search of your favourite online electronics emporium.. Mine was about 40-50 quid 10 years ago I think. I doesnt get much use but its fun to play with occasionally.

Before you spend any money do you have an appropriately sized dish? The absolute minimum you need for playing with C-band is 1m - and you wont get much with that. (I know - thats the dish size I was using!) If you want 70W you need to go MUCH bigger - well over 2m. AND have absolutely no obsctructions out to your south east. Generally speaking a 1.8m dish (6 foot diameter)is the smallest recommended for C-band.

Once you go up to these dish sizes you need some serious engineering & concrete to keep the poles vertical

If you cant satisfy these requirements dont even bother thinking about it - you would be wasting your time & money..
 
no i do not have a dish that is 1 meter and i do not have a enough room for a c band dish

analog satellite in 2022

Hi i have acquired an analogue satellite receiver from the attic and i wondered if there are any analog satellite channels left. I know that Astra turned off is analog system in 2012.
