Thank you BBC & Glastonbury for the wonderful concert by dear Cat Stevens.

A real "madeleine" as he was deeply forgotten due to his spiritual choices...
A direct link to our sunny teenage,May 68 and all that!!
Glad he 's back to our "wild world."
Sunny kisses from Carcassonne!

It's a Technomate digital modulator, it works like the old analogue modulators in VCRs except this is digital and a standalone unit. Basically, you feed it via its HDMI socket, you then select an LCN, in my case 198 and 199 as I have two modulators, then select a spare UHF channel via its menu, then a coax feeds into my distribtion amp in the loft that feeds the TVs in the house. You just then rescan your digital channels and watch it like you would a freeview channel.

Gotta get one of those! The traditional RF feed from the Sky HD's box downstairs to our bedroom TV is riddled with annoying interference that I cannot get rid of...
Does it do remote relay as well?

Have you tried changing the UHF channel out on the Sky HD box?
Remote relay?

Yeah I tried different UHF channels but all the same.

Remote relay like magic Eye, so I can control the Sky box from another room.

Not in the unit it self. If you split the HDMI out of the Sky HD, one for the main TV and one for the digi modulator add the digi modulator in line with the existing coax, the Sky HD one should still work as before.

Edit..I think the Edision newer versions have the magic eye facility, not sure about the newer TM ones. Mine are the original versions..

Ah yeah, good point. Last time I looked a good few years ago, those things were quite expensive. Will take a look at others with a glimmer of hope that some will be cheaper!
