Just had the most mad 48 hour or so, end of degree celebrations:
  • Friday night, totally slaughtered by midnight, nearly passed out, and was sick as a dog when I got back to a mate's.
  • Somehow managed to get home the next [Saturday] morning, slept rest of morning.
  • Down town to get hair cut in the afternoon, then back home to get suited and booted for Ball on Saturday night.
  • Spent all of last night avoiding drink and making sure bow tie was in place, still had a great night, and now I've found out a lady who I quite like actually quite likes me too!
And here I am, alright but definitely in need of a good night's sleep. Anyone got even better tales than that? I'm sure that was just an amateur effort compared to others'!

What can I say, honestly, I thought she was a bit out of my league, but apparently I've got promoted. Still, since shes moving home next week, I don't think it will come to anything, which is a damn shame!

Polomint - I can't say I miss the work, but I need to find a job, don't fancy going on the dole for too long if at all if I can help it.

Rolf is certainly correct there...... my son whilst he was at uni used his summer vacation to earn a crust and having signed up with a reputable agency got a very lucrative (if somewhat long hours) temp job working nights at B & Q, he was well chuffed. Luckily he managed to get fulltime work before he completed his masters.

Yea, I'm sure you know this but remember any experience is good (apart from the money), try and get something in an area that you would ultimately like to work in - it might just be a temporary job but the people you are working with/for might know someone looking for someone, or be so impressed with you that they take you on full time...
