Google street view doing alleyways, backyards etc?

I was just putting my car into my garage at the back of my house just now when a Google camera car slowly passed along the backway. It's a narrow, scruffy track but has fine views of the back bedrooms and bathrooms of the houses :eek:

No doubt I'll have been caught on camera with a look of surprise on my face (if they don't smudge it out) :-rofl2

That's the second time - I was snapped once before when it passed along my road a couple of years ago.

Is this what Google are up to now?
 
Are you sure it was a GoogleCar?

The council in Wirral run a couple of camera cars which look very much like Google's cars for sniffing out parking and minor motoring offences.

Street View - guaranteed to wind up residents of Tunbridge Wells (and me!).
 
Yes, had the Google sign and loads of stickers on it with places it had been to abroad.
