Having owned a Duo for over a year now, I decided I was fed up with having to update channel lists on two seperate recievers, so have replaced my AzBox with a Vu Solo.
I've always felt that the solo wouldn't be enough as a main reciever, for me atleast, but as a second reciever ? Alongside the duo it fit's the bill perfectly. The best thing is that the Duo HDD can be mounted on the Solo via the network. So all recordings, including ones in progress are available to watch via the solo. And the solo can record to the duo HDD, both recievers can play back.
If nothing else it's earned some brownie points with the mrs, she dosen't have to remember how to work two differant recievers
