if for example mine settings are [for motorized diseq setup] for point 0 something between N51 & E10 [taken from other instalator which done it already] its means i have to start from 10 east and then scan all sattelites?
 
Yes, you would use 10E to initially align your dish on as it's the highest satellite in the sky for you.
 
ok do i need angle of declination or just proper setup @ 10 east and then scan?
 
Set motor elevation to your latitude (make sure it's on latitude marker and not "elevation") and adjust the dish declination on 10E until you get best signal. You should be 90% there by this point...

ok is that possible to copy settings after finishing setup i will be moving to 7020HD soon so can i copy setting or i need do that all from beggining?
 
You should be able to restore from a DM800 one. It's the antenna settings that matter.
 
ok now i got opticum diseq motor but i dont think is properly installed mine man which installed this will visit me again

question is how to store position temporailty i can only put astra and hotbird but i see in positioner setup some weak signal as SNR from other sat [doesnt matter for now] in menu tuner positioner setting i got store well yes i am putting red button store position but no success when i am goin to astra and then go back to hotbird nothing is working


other question before diseq motor i was using manual motorized system using 12' stick motor with positioner with remote control so i was adding each satellite in tuner setup as LNB1-30 but in this case there is no diseq between dreambox and positioner

so do i need to remove all satellites that using LNB1-30 or change to LNB to all and then scan all from beggining [ its asking me to readd or remove]


unknown question how to setup declination i know only mine geo settings lontitude and lenght
 
LNB number shouldn't change, unless you are switching between different LNBs/dishes. You just change the stored position at the bottom of the tuner page. Make sure USALS is set to No.

Declination is done by changing the elevation of the dish on the dish bracket.
 
how i can set uslas to NO when i fill location data and save tuner/positioner setting is changing to usals self .Then when i am goin to sattelite choose and then example astra 19 then diseq from no to 1.2 @ the end of setting window there is set usals to this sat =yes/no no diffrences was on it.

as i know elevation is this 2nd setting on device left is lenght and on right side device is elevation i heard also something like declination .

sorry for all this but mine manual setting 12' stick went down after 10 years [went rusty] so i was forced to move to diseq opticum only
 
If this is a DiSEqC motor that is correctly set up you should enter your location and set USALS to yes. Stored positions are then not necessary.
 
Correct Huevos. I normally find it easier to enter the usals co-ordinates and then align the motor afterwards. Saves a lot of hassle and should be spot on if you've got everything right.
 
right now i understand nothing
installation man came again. I just readded USALS new location data which are diffrent than on device and in sattelite menu all positions are diseq OFF just for channel list to active motor is running but still lot to fix.


so if i get new dreambox i need to just add USALS data and nothing more?
