green light goes off after a while

hello every one i tried to flash my dreambox500s did uploaded few version of image but was working fine. at the middle of uploading lateest image the uploader application stop working and had to close by force. after that no signal is comming to the tv and even no function on tv. every time i plug on the box the green light gets on and after a while it goes off. please i am loking for your expert advice how to get back my working dreambox. please help me............help me....help me

Well you could try flashing it again with a different image.

If not you may have to jtag it.

However you also have to realise that a 50 quid clone 500 is barely worth fixing now.

i cant see any thing on the tv how can i flash it.....what application do i need.......i have the serial cable and it does detect when connect to my pc but dont show me anything......the reason i am asking to solve the problem i will go for a bulk number of receiver after succesfull i cant take the risk b4 i know each and everything about hot to maintain.........please help me.........please.............

Everything you need to know about running and maintaining any dreambox / linux receiver can be found right here on the forum. However you need to be willing to sit down and do some reading. LOTS of reading!

No-one has the time to sit with you and give you step by step instructions. So settle down for a few hours reading.

Now WHY would you need a bulk number of receivers?? Thinking of sticking card share details on them and selling them to your mates??

Not that it really matters - if you cant maintain one theres no point wasting your money on lots of them.

i have the nanoxx ip receiver and know all bout that but dream box just recently bought ....its not that i dont want to sit and spend time on it. i was but just cut my way right at the begining..so looking for help to get start back on the track and can learn about how to maintain this...it snot business about my friends and family then might my asian community in london. so if you kindly help me to get back to the trach i will be greatfull.............thanks

So basically you want us to help you set up some sort of commercial card share system. Do you realise just how much trouble the staff on the forum could get into with the UK authorities for helping you out????


We certainly will not help you set up your card share system. However the info you require can be found on the forum - a few weeks intensive reading should give you a reasonable idea of what to do.
