hey ppl

im really getting into this satellite lark and allready have realised my 5620 doesnt have space for enough channels.. lol

my question is.
i have both newcamd and ccc2.0.9 installed and only thing i can unlock is 1w this only has happened since downloading the satankey bundle.

but i cant get anything... really really want premier (which i no is unlocked atm) if i try other key bundles or even the hacksat downloader i get zilch nada nothing! can any1 help me please as i seem to be struggling with this.... what do i need to do?

do all my files in the keys folder need to be -755 attributes?
and scce folder them to? -755?

any help appriciated!:)

Have you CCcam as your default emu? Screenshots are on the bundle post.

Check to see if you are downloading the latest keys, maybe the bundle is older and that's why you can't unlock channels. Try the channel hbo or bbc (hotbird 13) to see if it unscrambles. If the encryption of channel is N*gra then it should work 99% of the time.

For chmod if using hacksat should be
softcam.cfg -> 755
tps.au -> 0
and the rest -> 644 <- this includes also other key bundles

Most of the time when downloading a bundle the chmod are already kept in the *.tgz, but if you extract it in windows then copy it manually via ftp to dreambox, the chmod will be 600 which needs to be change to 644.

To always have latest keys get your hands on the hacksat script v9 copy it to dreambox make sure its has _userscript.sh on the end and chmod 755.

If you know a bit about coding take a look at hacksat script so you can create a second script which downloads keys from other sites. So if one bundle fails, you can download other bundles auto install.

For the premier channels i don't know if the keys work b/c my second dish moved out of inlinement.

That would be new for me. I got a 5620 wit a motor and I have enough space for all channels and a cup of tea. How do you know? What is happening? If you got too much stuff in the VAR you should try a MAXVAR image, that wil allow you to have 3 cams and a biscuit :)
 
Hacksat v9 definately opens premieres nagra encryption m8. I am not familiar with your boxes file structure so if what im about to write is incorrect for a 5620 a mod can delete it but this is what I do on my 500 and relook 400s, both enigma 1 boxes.

Download the hackat v9 file from here _http://www.sat-universe.com/showthread.php?t=71525
Unzip the file and extract the 2 files called hacksatkeys.so and hacksatkeys.cfg. Use DCC or your favourite FTP program to send these 2 files to your box. They go into var/tuxbox/plugins. Change the attributes to 755 and save.

Press the yellow button on your remote or whatever button brings up your plugins menu. Hacksat should now be in that sub menu. Select it and choose your cam. Box connects to the server and auto downloads your keys. Job done, watch premiere.
 
ok im going to look like a total silly now but ill admitt it....

could only seem to get any joy at all if i changed everything in all my folders to -> 755
is this right? even the keys???
once i get it all up and running am going to look on sharing my card with frontroom receiver lol that should be interesting considering how hard i found all this so far :os

as far as my receiver goes i thought it only had 4000 channels lol just found out it doesnt :oD

allready have the hacksat downloader in my db, but when i used it digi tv went off!!! so i had even less than i started with! so i re loaded my satan bundle back in!

oh while im asking...
ne ideas why im missing the smut channels in my box?
not that im desperate for it, but while i can 'supposedly' get it i wouldnt mind a peek!
even if i try to manually input the freq and fec and sym rate it scans says its found no new services but nothing is there!
is is possable that its not called what it should be in my list and ive missed it as ive chanel hopped...? but i do have some channels from that transponder! but not the smut lol

and any general info u think a newbie could benefit shout up...

Hacksat always opened more for me than Satankey m8. If you follow my above post thats all you have to do. No more no less. Will open XXl on 19.2e and the 2 premiere adult channels. Will open more too Im sure but cant remember exactly what. Are you sure your lined up correct on the birds. Are you getting good signal strength and quality. Can you view fta channels on the different sats?

the channels WERE THERE, i just didnt know how to access them!
i only found out last night about premier sport and smut that you have to press the green button to get into the porthole!!!!
lolol how much of a tool do i feel like hahaha
im certainally learning....
