im having problems with the grundig gds2000 skydigibox. it just displays no sat signal being received. have tested with digibox and sat dish and cable seems fine.






any help please?

By this do you mean that you have tried anoter digibox on your cable and dish? If so then it looks like your Grundig has curled up its toes!

If it's one of the digiboxes with a ZIF tuner (I have no knowledge of Grundigs) then it may be this that's failed as this is a problem on some Paces.

The power supplies on this receiver tend to die, you can order an exchange unit (very easy to fit) from www.mces.co.uk

Funny you mention that,I know someone with the same problem with same box.Problem started 3/4 days ago,with break up on known strong channels like sky sports and news(on a 2.4m dish where the signal is excellent).Swapped with a working power supply but same result.Our technician was going to swap tuners today but heard nothing from him so maybe bad news.I dont think its a z-if tuner though.
By coincidence,when I came home tonight my Pace 2600 was displaying no signal.Signal from dish was normal,manual tuning worked,but after storing and then going to other channels still showed no signal.lnb settings in menu was okay,new installation worked with channel line up complete displayed,but still no signal.So powered off for 10 minutes,then on and hey presto! all working back to normal.I wonder if this is happening elsewhere?Maybe a new software upgrade?
