Grundig GUFSAT01HD add Channels

I have a Freesat installation using the GUFSAT receiver - my problem is adding channels which are not Freesat.
I want to add Sky News - I go to " Add Non Freesat Channels " enter the frequency, polarity etc and Sky News comes up in the preview box, BUT I cannot find a way of saving this to my main menu. Any ideas. My user manual doesn't even show how to add non Freesat channels .
 
If your Grundig is like my Foxsat you won't be able to save any channels found in non-Freesat mode in the main menu. You have to save them in the non-Freesat area and change to that every time you want to watch it.
 
Broadcasters pay a fee to appear on the main EPG.

Sky chose not to do so.

So, like other non-Freesat Channels, you can only access them in non-Freesat mode, not via the main EPG.
 
O.K. Guys - thanks for that . If I need Sky news will have to view thr'o my Cable Box, this I can do - but means a changeover which I had hoped to avoid.
 
The Gufsat itself can get you Sly news without switching to the cable box. What the guys are saying is that it will not be in the same grouping as the freesat channels but in the non-freesat section.

The Gufsat requires one easily overlooked operation to display non-freesat channels. Simply, it must be told in the first place to display them, otherwise you may not see them after scanning them. Experienced as I am, this initially foxed me too for a few seconds when I first got my Gufsat. The procedure is Menu-Settings-Show nonfreesat services; see following link for graphic example.

PS --- I have just double-checked to confirm that I can indeed watch Sly news on my Gufsat.

Thanks for that - got it now.
 
AS bigtee said ,then go to CH LIST that will bring up your freesat channels, then press SWAP it will take you to your non-freesat channels.
