My Satellite Setup
Started with analogue pace 300, 80cm dish, then had a Aldi comag receiver with a monoblock on hotbird and 19.2.
Had a couple of technomates ending with a 6900 fully motorised
That receiver died in 2018 and now I'm starting again.
My Location
Central midlands uk
Hi all, Just got a V8 finder 2 today, connected it up to the coax, and discovered that I've still got a signal and good reception.
It seems that my motor has moved a couple of degrees to the east away from Thor and is now centred on Bulgaria sat at 1.9 east
This meter is fantastic for the money, I wish I'd had one back in the day, certainly takes the guess work out of things.
So that's another step forward to getting up and running again.

Its amazing - can be used for backup in case of power cut.. Plus USB-C charging!!!

Hi mike1, Thanks for that info, certainly is an amazing piece of kit.

Maybe post some photos of the unit in action?

I'll need something like this soon. My FS1 meter only does DVB-S and those are getting few and far between.

Does it show SNR before lock?

Hi Captain Jack, I've not really used it properly yet, just fired it up to see where my dish actually was once I'd parked it at zero.
I connected it up and switched on, pressed installation and 1.9e Bulgaria sat was bleeping away, selected that and did a channel scan and hey presto, sound and vision
I did notice that it won't show H 265.
