Hi all, hope this is the best place to post this. I've done a bit of reading on here and i think i've settled on a setup. Background story is... after much thought and harrassment by other half we're gonna get a telly with HD. With sky's phone/broadband/HD bundle its working out about £39 per month which is only about £7 per month more than my current phone/broadband. Now the thought of picking up a lot of FTA euro channels wether HD or not appeals to me.
So, do i need to a) get a motorised dish at about 900mm and HD receiver?. b) Will the motorised dish be able to supply both the sky box and the motorised receiver? c) should i let the sky installer do his thing and then remove there dish and put up new one or would they do it for me as a private extra? d) what would be a reasonable HD motorised sat receiver for someone who would just like to hit a button and be done? e) if i was supplying all the stuff for an installer to fit assuming i had 1xsky HD box and 1xmotorised HD receiver running of 1x900mm motorised dish what else would i need? Sorry if these are all obvious but i haven't gotta clue and am needing pointed in the right direction ( no pun intended
