Hacksat Keyupdater on DM800

Sometimes finding a folder can be a struggle :)

My plugins are in /etc/ tuxbox/plugins (7020).

If you telnet into your Dreambox you can use a few Linux commands to find the files.

Something like:

$ find . -name 'hacksat.*'

Hello tlj999,

First download the HackSat_Key_downloader_userscript_for_dm800.rar
and not the hacksatv9a-en.tar.bz2 one.

Then find the plug-ins you installed:
hacksatkeys.cfg
hacksatkeys.so
and delete them as they are wasting space
They can be found in var/tuxbox/plugins/

(note: the folder plugins was created when the tar file was executed. so if the folder is empty after the delete, delete this folder as well)

Once the rar file has being downloaded unzip it on pc and ftp the HackSat_Key_downloader_userscript.sh file to /var/script/

Change the script chmod to 755.

Now just press blue button > 3. gemini Extras > user-scripts > HackSat_Key_downloader to execute the script
(This step varies depending the image installed)

(Additional Note for other readers)
To manual install any engima2 plugins on 800
1) You need to ftp the the plugin to the folder /tmp as mentioned by mhku.
2) Then press blue button > file manager
3) If the path is not /tmp then navigate to it.
4) You see a list of files. Find/select the plugin you added, once highlighted/selected press green button to install.

Hi again P3t3r_2,

I've ftp'd HackSat_Key_downloader_userscript.sh to var/script and changed to 755 and executed the script.
Received a message saying installed successfully.
Now what do I do to start the Hacksat plugin.
I can't find it anywhere.

The Hacksat key downloader for dm800 is not a plugin but a script which downloads from the website (h**p://w**.uydu.ws/deneme6.php?file) using the linux command wget.

Did you follow the exact steps? press blue button > 3. gemini Extras > user-scripts > HackSat_Key_downloader > press ok

Or run it from file manager as explained here Post #22

It should pop up a display showing the keys been downloaded eg.

HackSat_Key_Downloader
Downloading Keys - Keyler yükleniyor...
...
...

All keys Updated - Keyler yüklendi.

Here is an attachement of just the script (no keys!) to the rar file:
Downloaded it to pc unrar and ftp this to either var/script or usr/script (its the same location! because var/script is a link to usr/script) and follow the steps mention in post #22.

Is there somewhere which tells you which packages are open.
How often do I need to run the script.
Does it update automatically?
