Has somebody been "Archived" recently?

In the Xmas thread I was confused as to why whilst viewing on Tapatalk somebody was just listed as being "OP" but then choosing "Switch to Webview" and then visiting the site proper I then see the poster as being "Archived4". Thanks for shedding any light on this matter.

Where any member asks to be deleted we try to comply as best as possible as far as practical. Its not really possible to delete hundreds of posts in long threads without totally wrecking the structure of the thread, and would also delete any threads they may have started so we change their user name, remove any identifying info from their profile & any particular threads that we know about that might identify them & then delete the account. This gives the former member some measure of anonymity.
