After assembling my new dish today.. I fitted the arm and then the LNB..

but to my horror, the plastic LNB ring/holder thing snapped on the one side when tightening the screw!!

So instead of looking like: O
It looks like: C

It still seems to hold the LNB okay.. and looks okay.. but I'm afraid that it will be just slightly 'off' resulting in low/no signal :eek::(

I cant test it yet, as I have no receiver..

Should I just take it back to Maplin??
 
I'd replace as it might allow movement of the LNb & throw your skew out when up :)
