Having been very interested in HD freesat viewing I purchased a Darkbox HD from eBay the other day.

It arrived today and having been trying for 3 hours to set it up correctly I think I may have finally achieved something.

I had no idea it didn't do cardsharing so I know I've messed that one - but it does do softkeys although I don't quite understand what they do.

My little issue at the moment is if I point my dish to 16E will I be able to get football and movies in english without paying for them or do I need to do something else.
 
If you have no system, how are you watching anything from the box ?

Lol you will need a suitable subscription - all the 16E services are secure :-rofl2

Not much anymore, might be the odd thing here and there.


The Spiderbox is their 'current' money spinner.
 
Ok but if I can get keys from somewhere for a partiular channel would I be able to enter them to view that channel.

But the point is that the keys AREN'T available. And even if they were, the encryption algorithms have to ne know as well - which they mostly aren't.
 
Thanks for the reply but if that's the case what are things like ******keys for or the many listings for keys I see on google.
