HD Channels Freezing

Hi

I'm on a cardshare and my sky sports 1 hd and espn hd freezes a lot and flickers .i asked a few friends who are also on the same cardshare and they experience the same problem even the person who runs the server. What could be the problem?
 
Slow internet uplink
Sky interfering with the card share
my advice if you want guaranteed viewing, get a subscription
 
do you have the old 800 or the new 800 box with the new rev tuner? i had the old one and had the same problem, now i have the new box and problem of freezing is gone.
 
get an inline amp +20db off ebay for about £3 and it should sort your problems as it did for me

As other folks on the same share have exactly the same problems (post #1) its not a signal strength problem in this case. The freezes are almost certainly caused when the keys change and the box takes a few seconds to catch up.

The only guaranteed way to get uninterrupted reception is to have your own card :D
 
i'll try it with the 20db amp got one lying about doubt it will make a diffrence as its affecting everybody
