HDR & iPlayer - What am I doing wrong?

I finally got around to connecting my HDR to my network (using an ethernet cable) in the hope of using the BBC's iPlayer service.

The HDR is set for DHCP IP and has S/W ver 1.00.12. The loader is U 7.52 but that shouldn't affect things.

I've followed the instructions but when I press the red button there's no BBC iPlayer option below the Watch BBC HD.

So, what am I doing wrong?
 
See if you can force an upgrade if its a Humax - dont know what the latest version is but it needs to be the current software.

If its any other make it wont work for the time being.
 
Apart from the loader, which isn't an OTA upgrade, the S/W is current.
 
Put it onto BBC1
Press red, then 5483 as though you were entering LIVE on the keypad.
 
That was the missing information!

I was misled by the video as I was expecting to see a menu option for the iPlayer. I then expected to be asked for the code after clicking the Iplayer button. I didn't expect it to be a hidden code option - in fact I've not seen any mention of this anywhere.

I was able to catch up with a missing episode of Great British Railways. The HD option isn't even as good as standard 576i TV but it's not bad. The ordinary quality seems to be bit worse than VHS but is still perfectly watchable.
