HDR problem gigablue

Astra 19.2
My Location
France
When I run an HDR channel on ASTRA, the tv Detects the HDR signal but the image Becomes dark, what do you think ? I use teamblue 6.4, ue 4k thanx à lot
 
Which satellite and channel?
 
UHD1 encrypts in the evening. Have you updated the drivers?
 
Sorry I don't know as I'm not familiar with the receiver. On another forum someone reported success after contacting Gigablue support:

r u sure its the image that goes dark, or just the GUI \ gfx which might make it look like the picture has gone darker... > i've seen that with my Edision \ ZGemma, and Octagon

Yes im sure, because i played thoses channels with the philips tv and it works very well, do u know how install thé New drivers for gigablue ue 4k ?

drivers will be in the latest image of your choice, you could try more than one image, to see if same thing happens.

It's because blacks actually show as black and you are not used to it.
 
Is the TV displaying anything or is it just showing black? Does the TV have separate settings for HDR?

Yes i've all picture, but it's a little pale, in the tv internal receiver, the HDR works but not with GB 4k, and unfortunatly, philips tv don't have settings to deactivate hdr

Are the television's internal satellite tuner and the HDMI input using the same picture settings?
 
do all\other UHD channels do it, QVC 4K and QVC2 4K - is it 4K or HDR that does it.
 
as mentioned before, r u on the latest image? have u tried another image yet? worth doing \ checking

Worth trying a different image mate. Can u install into another slot for a quick test
