Hellassat 4 begin first transmissions

I cannot advise as my set up is geared to feed hunting, Multi-Stream broadcasts & DTH TV.
With these receivers:-
TM6902HD Super/TM5502HD/Octagon SX88+/Edision primo ip S2/TM5302HD/Golden Interstar Alpha X/Amiko A4K UHD.

There are known problems with OpenVix that have not been addressed by the software writers another reason why I do not use these receivers as they are capable of a lot but the manufacturers are not prepared to spend the money on re-writing the software/hardware,

Maybe the next generation of Linux satellite receivers they will get the software right 1st time :) that would be nice.

Thank you again you have very kind offering very useful info. I might play around a little and see my Amiko HD8255+ receiver works very well and if thinks become problematic I will use this.

If someone can confirm this(it must be some kind of beam testing for sure).From May 10 untill yesterday i was able to receive signal from 11500 V 3500 FEC:2/3 8PSK DVB S2 Fann tv and Tarabiyat radio from this pos. with only 110 cm dish in Croatia.Reception (lock was stable only from early morning untill 13:00).There was significant signal fluctuation.The signal dropped sharply in the afternoon (from 7.3db lock to 0.2 db).Now there is new modulation QPSK S2 new FEC 1/2 and SR 2500...I have lock huge margin but no clear picture now.(green glitches)If someone can test this.Thx!
 
But I recorded before Fann tv when was on Fec 2/3 8PSK 3500 SR
 
From my location in Pakistan, the only transponder on Paksat 38°E Ku-band currently operating 24 is 12687 V 1300, carrying Sama Entertainment. Most of the remaining activity on this satellite mainly consists of occasional feeds.

So Alfa Fann can only be on the Middle East beam of the Hellsas-Sat 4. Obviously wrong reports on both FS & LS before.

Maybe better for the admin to move this latest debate to Hellas Sat fringe section...
