There seems to be quite a bit of feed activity from Hellas Sat 4. I have attached a small table below that presents a recent scan result from this satellite. I allocated the locked feed frequencies to the Europe BSS/FSS beams as I would not expect such high levels from the Middle East beam?

The table is part of a larger table that I will post in the Hellas Sat 3 topic in the other "fringe" section of the forum.

Hi everyone, I haven't been on the forum for sometime now but pleased to be visiting again. I am in need of some help again please, I am at a loss to understastand some basics, so please be kind to me.
1. Please could someone explain how many Hellas Sats are there now, I see 2,3 and now 4, are these different sats or transponders?
2.How do I ensure I am getting signals from all the transponders at 39.0E?
3. I am able to get strong signal and quality at 12441H, 23666, 2/3 8PSK, this is 85, and 90% respect. BER is not displayed, and 13.7dB. This is for RIK, and EPT from Cyprus and Greece respect, which if fine, but
Please note, that according to Lyngsat 12441 should be set to V polarisation, but if I do that I loose signal completely,so I set it to H, don't know or understand this, any explanations?. I have an 80cm dish, with a new Universal LNB, and a TM Nano SEM2 plus receiver. Thank you

I think the fault may be with the TM Nano SEM2 plus receiver do you have any other receivers that you can try ?

Also double check that the Lnb is set to 9750/10600 & not 9750/10700 or 9750/10750 as these can be confusing if not clearly defined on your receiver but only the 1st one should be selected.

Yes the LNB is set correctly as you suggested, not sure what you mean by the fault might be with the receiver (I do have another receiver I could try out).

Then I strongly advise that you try another receiver.

Good morning, I have tried a new receiver today, and I can lock onto the vertical polarisation TP frequencies as expected.
So is the TM Nano faulty? because I can lock on and watch the same channels but on a horizontal polarisation?

Your receiver maybe faulty or require a different image to overcome this problem,

Ring the supplier of your receiver & explain your problem to see if they can assist,

Alternatively ring Technomate:-
Phone: 020 8884 0701
Address: Unit 11 Nobel Rd, London N18 3BH

Linux receivers are notorious for these sorts of problems that is why I do not use them.

A feed is a live event transmitted from a SNG "Satellite News Gathering truck", this is a truck with a large satellite dish on top,
These feeds can be found on certain satellites such as 16 east,10 east,7 east & 1 west ect ect
FlySat Eutelsat 10A Feeds you will need a 80 to 100 cm satellite dish to receive them & a receiver capable of a Blind Scan to find them.
More info can be found here FlySat Sat List

Also just to say that the reason I use a E2 linux receiver is so that I can control it via my laptop, without having to have a TV on.
I do have non Linux based receivers but I don't know of any app that might be useful in say viewing programs on my laptop or phone, if you can suggest anything I would be pleased.
Thanks

So thank you again, my experience with both the supplier as well as Technomate is shall we say, ... not very successful, so regarding a different image, by that do you mean an update to the latest version or going to a completely different image?. Presently I am on OpenVix but not the latest version.!
