Hi fellas, got query about the SCS/Astra UHD demo channel, first of my setup,
Samsung UE55HU8500 UHD TV with on board positioner, sky HD box, quad LNB on 90cm motorised dish, been setup for some time and reset when I bought the TV in May last year,
Had the SCS/Astra UHD demo channel tuned with no problem until I had to reset the TV to try and fix an unrelated problem, now after going through the set up and re tune and selecting the tuning frequency parameters again it wont find the SCS channel

Transponder: 2.038
Frequency : 12.441 GHz
Polarisation: Vertical
Symbol Rate : 29.5 MS/s

Any ideas, dish has not been moved, in fact nothing has changed other than a TV reset, all the other Astra 28.2 E channels are present so why should it not be able to tune to the SCS channel? is it off line maybe?
 
Flysat & KingofSat both shows those parameters as current and correct.
 
Looks like its off air atm. These test channels do come & go - try it again in a few days time.

Thanks guys, that put my mind at rest, will give the other Astra sat a go.
 
Cant seem to get the Astra 19.2E UHD demo either, so maybe there is a problem, are there any other UHD channels that I could get with HEVC decoding?

Can you get other transmissions from 19.2E? (just to confirm that your motor was set up again after you'd reset the tv)
 
I have no problem receiving all channels on Astra 28.2E and Eutelsat at 28.5E, but only got 27 channels on Astra 19.2E of which only 6 where TV, so maybe its down to a positioner problem, although quite why I should be able to get one satellite and not the other I'm not sure.

Can you remember any of those 6 channels, as it sounds to me as though either the dish isn't moving or it's out of alignment..
 
At the moment the UHD Channel on Astra 28E is present.

Think I have now sorted the Astra 1 19.2E as I can now find four UHD demo channels and in excess of 500 odd channels, seem to get all the Astra 2 28.2E channels but still cant tune the SES demo at 12441 /29500 V doesn't come back with 0 channels when searched for.
 
Some channels/Tp's no longer issues, by Astra in order to 19'2ºEast (01/01/2016), do not look the rest.
Algunos canales/Tp's ya no emite, fin por Astra a 19'2ºEste (1-1-2016), no mire el resto.

Finalized/finalizado Astra a 19'2ºEast.

11479 V 22000 5/6 DVB-S2 8PSK.- CANAL+UHD frances demo FTA

Astra 28'2ºE SES demo at 12441 V 29500 3/4....Working/Funcionando.

As I have all the 28.2 E and 19.2 E channels tuned along with sky, I am starting to think it may be down to a very slight vertical inclination error that's stopping the SCS 12441/29500 UHD demo on 28.2E being tuned, does that sound feasible?
 
On occasions when I've had a previously stored Channel fail to show up despite the parameters being correct, deleting the stored Channel, reboot and rescan invariably fixes the issue.

But I'm guessing you've tried that?
