Help connecting setup a dreambox 800 to a new router

hi my dreambox 800 genuine wouldn't connect to the internet after I change my router when perform network test the nameserver is not confirmed I'm using dhcp please help.

It's me again I turn off the dhcp and still same problem nameserver not confirmed I put the nameserver the router's ip address which's 192.168.1.1 is that correct? please help.

The router's IP will depend on the router, go to start, run and type in CMD, then ipconfig in the new window, what does it say for default gateway?
 
Thanks rolfw I solve the network problem but now i got anther one I can only see fta channels but Id'n think it's allow to discuss here or is't.

Well if you're talking about commercial servers then yes, it's forbidden.:)
 
rolfw yes and i wouldn't go there my db800 connecting to net but i can't connect any ftp like dcc dreamup dreamstream in fact it's not connecting my pc. what do you think the problem is?


i check my and because the box is set dhcp it gives ip address from 00.00.0.0 to 192.168.1.4 and i could not understand way is there anything i'm missing?

An easy and straight forward way to connect your dreambox is to use a 1/8 switch (very cheap) connected to your router.
Connect your Dreambox and as many prepherals like a printers and computers etc to the switch.
You should have no problems with setting any IP manually.
