Is the tv not good enough or have i not set it up correctly?

You may not ever get it to work. DVI has no provision for HDCP, which protects high definition signals, and without this "handshake" the $ly HD box refuses to send an HD picture.

This is to stop people recording HD signals on an external device.

http://www.satellites.co.uk/forums/dreambox-8000/114087-dreambox-8000-sale-yet-3.html post 65 on.

This also mentions a device called an HDCP Blaster but I really can't see how such a thing would work.
