Help for new boy trying to find hotbird

I have found Eutelsat 16E using a cheap Konig satellite finder. However I cannot find Hotbird. Is this because the satellite finder is not sensitive enough as Hotbird and Eutelsat 16E are so close together at my location?
 
Yes, I think you may have a problem with a cheap satfinder finding the dip between those two satellites. Why not use your TM5300 signal strength meter, that should do it perfectly.
 
If using the receiver, try 10.956h for 16e and 10.834v for 13e for example.
