I have California Amplifier Wideband LNB and a Technomate Tm-5500Dapci the Lnb wide band setting won’t work for some reason only the universal setting will.

Changed the LNB setting to Lo High for 10750 and Lo lo to 09750 but the analogue signal is lost the universal setting works fine but the polarity needs to be changed for every channel.

What is the correct setting.

Many thanks in advance'O'-red

Not 100% sure what you have or what you are asking.

Is the Cal Amp LNB a dual band LNB with a 22khz tone switch for upper and lower band and voltage switching for polarisation?

The settings for a Universal LNB are 9750 and 10600, but as I say, not really sure of the spec of your LNB.

Thanks RolfW for your reply

The Calamp is a Quad band 13volts for low band 18 volts for high band there no 13/18 for polarity switching or 20KHz tone switching for Low/High band.

Hope this Helps

It was probably designed to be used with another in the other plane.
Your LNB will have a single pickup as opposed to two at 90deg to each other that the current universal LNB's have. So you will only get one polarity or the other but high and low band in that polarity. Is there a real need to use this, or could you swap it out for something less 'specialist'

For some reason the wideband Lnb setting in the receiver won't work, this should be the correct setting for this Lnb all the options are available.

The universal setting works but I have to switch the polarity from 18 volts as this selects the High band.

You shouldn't be able to get both polarities no matter what you do, except by rotating the LNB 90 degrees in the clamp. Is this the case ??

I have a Polariser in the setup, its got to be the lnb local oscillator frequency setup!

How are you controlling your polariser ??

I don't wish to be funny

With the receiver, I have tried every configuration I can think of swapping all the setting everything the only conclusion I can thinks of is every analogue channel is in the High band when they need to be in the low band, and then I have changed the polarity's in case its using the 13/18 polarity switching

Found a work around late last night

I changed the OCS Lnb configuration to 09750/ 10750 now the polarizer is now active for the Analogue and Digital channels. To select between low band and high band I am using the 13/18-volt polarity switching to control between the low and high bands. Vertical for the low band, horizontal for the high band and tweaking the polarizer for the maximum signal . The only trouble is reprogramming the channels for this configuration and if I fit an Invacom C120 Lnb it will need changing back.

Next question is it possible to download the current configuration onto a computer before I change things?

Regards and apologies to all for looking
:)
