help me im a satalite virgin!

hi everyone! im really new to all this, im hoping somebody out there can help me out- im not even sure if im posting this in the right place!
i have absolutely no idea where to start so i'll let everyone know what ive got.
i've just bought a caravan, it has a dish and two cables coming from it, there is a box that isn't connected to it, it is a ' silver crest digital satalite reciever model SL 65/12 lidl' . i was told by the man who owned the caravan he had it connected up to the tv and it worked perfectly for him, but he has'nt left me the instructions so ive no idea what lead goes where or in what hole and how to tune it or anything! im using a panasonic tv, it has a scart lead in the back which can attach to the digi box. ive managed to get the digi box connectedas its menu comes up on the tv screen-but i dont think ive got the leads in the right place, esp from the disc -i have "no signal" even when i do a scan please help me if anyone has any idea what i need to do i really appreciate it! ps. sorry if i sound really stupid!

You need to get yourself a little meter for aligning the satellite dish, decide on which satellite you wish to watch and then look at one of the guides. http://www.satellites.co.uk/satelli...orial-installing-pointing-satellite-dish.html
